That's great mate. I've been following your website with interest and will be sure to make it to the exhibition. What are the hours for the exhibition for the rest of the time? Will there bike parking available at other times?

Do we have any forumites that want to converge on the opening to support this great project?

Once you can climb hills on a bike it's all downhill.

Hopefully I'll know what that's like..... one day.

Weekdays the gallery is open from 7:30am to 5pm. On the Saturday (23 Oct) it will be open from 9am to 4pm. The full bike valet service is offered on the gala(h) opening night on Friday 22 Oct - BQ are helping out with some large scale bike rack options. For the rest of the exhibition the best bet is to park your bike in the little courtyards in front of the gallery - white picket fence, plenty of opportunities to lock etc.

Cheers!

Gavin.

Is anyone else going to see this? I can't believe more of you aren't getting on board with this. It's great for cycling. :)

Good film.

P.S. what has Anna Bligh done for cycling in Brisbane ?

I do remember seeing her riding on one of those charity type events ??? :P

I popped in today and had a look. Good fun. :) I particularly loved the bikes. I left some comment about bikes not being inanimate objects. :)

Yep I did see her at the Million Paws Walk at the uni a few years ago.
But she was not riding a bicycle.

Some pics of opening night. Bike valet was super popular - our 48-bike capacity racks were filled straight away. Thanks everyone for turning out and making it such a great night. Judging from the door prize stubs we had 200+ through the door. http://bikingbrisbane.com/?p=829 .
