Re: Qld weather venting posts
Aye, was lovely. Should've done more than 15km. Its on account of my super rain jacket arriving yesterday, you know. I did it for you, Luke. I ride 25s on the basis that they divide more easily into 100 than 23s.
Re: Qld weather venting posts
Thanks are also due to all of the others on this forum who have recently bought jackets, shoecovers, indoor trainers, pressure cleaners, amphibious devices etc. Recent Favorite rides:
December -TUMBULGUM to TOMEWIN by some obscure route-can't wait to do it again !!!

No problems ![]()
Re: Qld weather venting postsCheers for that Dan. I was getting really tired of cleaning my bike every second day. Now we're battling strong head winds it seems (doesn't seem too bad today though). Might be time to buy that Cervelo S5, some expensive Zipp deep dish rims, one piece lycra suit and an aero helmet
Re: Qld weather venting postsLike this ____ aero or like this ------ aero?

Re: Qld weather venting posts
A cracker of a morning, I did a training session on Nebo this morning working too hard to take in the views, had some idiot in a white Golf nearly take me out on the descent which put a blot on the ride...I'm sure that my Garmin shows a spike in my heart rate It was cool'ish this morning, the car said 16 degrees at 5am! Re: Qld weather venting postsWow. Isn't she a looker! Actually it looks very similar to the stationary exercise bike at my old high school gym haha.
Re: Qld weather venting postsYes guys certainly great morning for a ride, agree a little cold at 0430, but didn't take long to warm up.
Nice little head wind on the way back from Cleveland point. So good to be able to get back out on the bike and do some k's.
Re: Qld weather venting postsWas doing Cootha repeats until 10am yesterday.. loving the cool temp
Re: Qld weather venting posts
I chose a good time for an 8 week spell off the bike (vein treatment), but that time is up on Wednesday.....................what's the chance of rain I wonder ??? The Squizz has just braved the wet is heading out for a couple of hours on the Kedron Brooke bike path (Nudgee loop) on the MTB. That is if the water after the crit track isn't over the depth marker Gas propulsion.......it's natural don't fight it.
Re: Qld weather venting postsI was contemplating heading out on the fix gear, it's got mud guards, but somehow this morning I have managed to put my back out. Got night shift for the next 4 nights so I hope it's all good by the end of the shift cycle. I have heard that the weather is suppose to improve during the week

Re: Qld weather venting posts
I hope it includes the wind going away... Haven't had a day without wind for for ages..... Headwinds get a bit boring after a while. Cheers Sent from my GT-P5110 using Tapatalk 2

+ eleventy hundred, i'm so sick of having water sloshing around in my shoes, and slogging away into howling headwinds. When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments- Elizabeth West.
Re: Qld weather venting postsDue to the rain I was 'encouraged' into my first indoor cycling session today...OMGosh, tough and boring at the same time

Re: Qld weather venting posts
hang on - does that count towards your kms?
Re: Qld weather venting posts
Nope, don't think so, I think that the rules are for outdoor rides only! I didn't bother with my Garmin this morning....anyhow I had a mechanical after about 45 mins so that finished my session early. Better for it to happen in the studio than on the track mid-race....all sorted due to my bike wizard at Crankstar Lisa
Re: Qld weather venting postsWell things turned around today, perfect conditions.
