A cracker of a morning, I did a training session on Nebo this morning working too hard to take in the views, had some idiot in a white Golf nearly take me out on the descent which put a blot on the ride...I'm sure that my Garmin shows a spike in my heart rate

It was cool'ish this morning, the car said 16 degrees at 5am!

Wow. Isn't she a looker! Actually it looks very similar to the stationary exercise bike at my old high school gym haha.

Yes guys certainly great morning for a ride, agree a little cold at 0430, but didn't take long to warm up.

Nice little head wind on the way back from Cleveland point.

So good to be able to get back out on the bike and do some k's.

I chose a good time for an 8 week spell off the bike (vein treatment), but that time is up on Wednesday.....................what's the chance of rain I wonder ???

The Squizz has just braved the wet is heading out for a couple of hours on the Kedron Brooke bike path (Nudgee loop) on the MTB. That is if the water after the crit track isn't over the depth marker
Gas propulsion.......it's natural don't fight it.

I was contemplating heading out on the fix gear, it's got mud guards, but somehow this morning I have managed to put my back out. Got night shift for the next 4 nights so I hope it's all good by the end of the shift cycle. I have heard that the weather is suppose to improve during the week  .

I hope it includes the wind going away...

Haven't had a day without wind for for ages..... Headwinds get a bit boring after a while.

+ eleventy hundred, i'm so sick of having water sloshing around in my shoes, and slogging away into howling headwinds.

Nope, don't think so, I think that the rules are for outdoor rides only! I didn't bother with my Garmin this morning....anyhow I had a mechanical after about 45 mins so that finished my session early.

Better for it to happen in the studio than on the track mid-race....all sorted due to my bike wizard at Crankstar  and ready for a hurtfest on a Battle on the Border training ride tomorrow

Wish I could. My back is still bung.

Has been a very nice day, typical for the last day of school holidays. Poor kids have been stuck inside most of the holidays.

I went for a ride this morning and there was a big yellow thing in the sky following me the whole time, I don't know what it was and i'm a bit worried.

I saw one of those too. Every time I looked at it, it hurt my eyes so I don't think it was up to any good.

It was crap by the time I finally got out to riding today but only got worse when I had a blowout at 40kph 20km from home. As soon as I saw the rip in the sidewall I knew my only option was to call the family chauffeur   Made even worse at home changing to some brand spanking new conti GP4000s... WHY SO DIFFICULT TO INSTALL ON MY AERO WHEELS!!
