I wondered what time I would have gotten with the 107km wind gust behind me ..... it blew the office door open and office girl could hardly close it

Yep. Oh so humido.
Actually was not so bad at approx 6am.

Main problem was dodging all the belly up toads on road, coming down the front of Coottha.

Well I don't recall seeing you either, although going up the back this morning my field of vision had shrunk down to about 10 degrees, so that's not saying much...

Got no flex up (and probably couldn't keep up with you two anyway), but I'm curious - what is the route for that loop?

sorry for the dampener (pardon the pun) but you've got some rain for the next 2 hours.

Okay, not much traffic but exposed and can get very hot.
Not the sort of loop I do solo.

I might pass you on your way up as I might be doing a Mt Nebo-Mt Glorious-Mt Nebo run before work tomorrow :P

The Brisbane Valley Highway is pretty decent. It's got a wide shoulder. Wider than most bike lanes in Brisbane. Only sucks after the Bridge as you head into Fernvale as it vanishes. Sommerset-Wivenhoe is the part I don't like the most. Its got little traffic but there's very little when it comes to shoulders. Most people who pass usually give you a wide berth though.

Ahh so that was you in the London Pride jersey - caught me on the steep part of Coottha front.
I took the bait and locked onto your back wheel for some time, long enough to go into the red zone.
I lost contact at Cafe roundabout and you powered on. :)
