Only just saw this! I got a sneaky couple of Cootha laps in and home by 8… very much dry. Even got a surprise little PR on the back from a casual cruise up there. Awesome night out.Lukeyboy wrote:Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....... who is up for a ride in the next couple hours?TOP PRIORITY FOR IMMEDIATE BROADCAST

Yep. Oh so humido.jasonc wrote:I think I was swimming not riding to work this morning. sooo humid.
Actually was not so bad at approx 6am.
Main problem was dodging all the belly up toads on road, coming down the front of Coottha.

The Brisbane Valley Highway is pretty decent. It's got a wide shoulder. Wider than most bike lanes in Brisbane. Only sucks after the Bridge as you head into Fernvale as it vanishes. Sommerset-Wivenhoe is the part I don't like the most. Its got little traffic but there's very little when it comes to shoulders. Most people who pass usually give you a wide berth though.

I took the bait and locked onto your back wheel for some time, long enough to go into the red zone.
I lost contact at Cafe roundabout and you powered on.
