Sandgate Rd was a car park, so I decided to reluctantly wait it out at Maccas Virginia. I had the joy of listening to the plump staff shout at each other, though resisted a Big Mac.
naturally, SS and I exchanged texts at 4 this morning canning Glorious..the forecasts don't seem to be as accurate as 10 years ago, hence why we're always planning stuff up to the 11th hour...

Qld weather venting posts

Maccas has never tasted nice Luke :rolleyes:Lukeyboy wrote:Hahaha. We might have met up for the third time today haha. As I got stuck at the lights outside Nundah in the heavy rain I highly considered stopping in at the Maccas on Sandgate Road for a thickshake/ice cream/nuggets (I can't eat their burgers. They might taste nice but towards the end I just feel like crap and question why I bought one in the first place) while the rain passed/eased off. I started to out run it hence why I didn't end up stopping there
If you think it does you seriously need to broaden your food horizons.
If I choose to get fat on take away food it certainly wouldn't be on the most bland food ever to be created by man.

Where do the younger generations pick up these predilections from?
And some parenting authorities say kids grow out of phases, so leave em be. hmmm.
Come on Lukey, every pizza and maccas meal is 1000km less you'll be able to ride in your lifetime!

But seems I might have to change that to Rain Man.
Seriously though, I have had a lot to do with autism spectrum disorders professionally, and I seriously doubt you have anything profound.
And the medical view is associated cognitive issues dramatically improve with more fruit and vege, and worsen with refined carbs.
Besides, you seem as normal as your highly talented boss!

Must ride bike without drowning in my own sweat, although I'm all moist just from brushing my teeth.

Don't jinx it!
I'm trying to chase the Rapha Festive 500 next week, so I don't need the rain, heat of humidity

Made it a bit of a challenge going up the mountain.
Because of the wind, the view had better than average clarity for a summer's day.
