+1000. Rode yesterday and didn't find it too bad (but stuck to the coast pretty much). Went for a walk/jog this morning and took 30 minutes to stop sweating when I got back.

I must be getting immune to the rain, did another century ride today which started off in the rain...had wet roads for the first 50-60ks, then the humidity kicked in for the remainder of the ride, thankfully we had a tailwind for the last 20.

Not looking good for the next couple of days though...more time for cleaning the bike

According to the BOM it looks like there will be little riding over the next few days.

What's the BOM got to do with whether we ride or not? :)

Need a snorkel at my place. Had 100+mm since early this morning. Roads around here have flooded in some places.

I had a great time on the ride in this morning. Made sure all the motorists could see my big smile as well. Got a big thumbs up and smile from the driver of a car in front of me at some lights :)

I really would like some waterproof overshoes though, the rest I don't mind.

^^ You're a harder arse than me mate. I walked the kids to school in the rain (they loved it) then jumped on the bus. Took ages in the traffic, but the time saved riding woulda been lost in the showers at work.

Why are they still playing when the red guy has already connected 4, and is about to connect another 4?

Good on yer.
No such exposure for me.
But i did tips me lid at one guy cruising down Payne Rd inbound this morning.
Was using Ayups well, giving him a lot of exposure, i think he was a commuter.
Me and the lazy dog walked up Coottha, it was ethereal up there. :)

It's a new craze called connect 8.

Although the red disc guy is cheating because while black disc guy was on the loo he had 4 extra turns.
