From Oxley you can go out around Jindalee and Seventeen Mile Rocks and Mt Ommany.

If you start from Indooroopilly/Chelmer you'll get the distance.

Start Murrarie Crit track, over the Gateway to Nundah crit track and then follow the MBC to Sandgate and return.

What about out to Wynnum and back? But the return leg might be traffic heavy.

Not a bad idea, but I should have mentioned that we'll be trying to average around 40km/h so looking for something a little faster and wider than the MBC.

That could be difficult if you are looking for quiet roads on a week day. That's why I chose bike tracks.

Thats a tough one as it is either roads or tracks. Roads are busy and tracks are populated with walkers other slow cyclists etc.
For a fast run on roads I would probably pick maybe the service road from Beenleigh to Coomera and back. Go to Beenleigh by train for a south and north run or Coomera and do a north south run.

Anything around the city is going to be tough I reckon.

The Beenleigh - Coomera is one i do a fair bit as i live at Ormeau. and its fairly fast and not to many hills.

It's fine for riding/walking/running.

It seems every time I use it I'll see 2 or 3 people.
