Suburbs around Geebung Q.

I may soon be moving to Brisbane and working in Geebung.

Am seeking advice on:-
1. What kind of nice cycling routes exist within the suburbs around here.
2. Good suburbs to live in not too far from here. Say within 10kms.

I have noticed that Geebung is not too far from the coast. There is also an airport east of here (flight paths to avoid?).

what sort of cycling? road? MTB? bike paths? or a combination of the aforementioned? might be a bot easier to give clear answers then.

Sorry. Was thinking bike paths mostly (scenery). Don't mind cycling around the quieter suburban roads also.

There is the Toombul to Nudgee Beach bike Path.

There is one to the Trade Coast, Redcliffe, raven Street Reserve, to Mitchelton/Stafford, Around the city there is the riverwalk............................................

There are plenty of options. I actually live in Geebung. Although there isn't a direct route to the city, once you work out an easy one you can get in there pretty quickly

Wavell Heights is also a relatively good suburb more or less next door to Geebung.
As the name suggests, some elevation which is usually a bonus.

I doubt if proximity to airport will be too much of a problem for you.

I think proximity to major roads and roadworks is more of a worry with noise and related issues
There is a good bikepath from Toombul east to Nudgee Beach
There is also a bikepath west from Toombul as far as Stafford but it has taken a battering from major roadwork projects and floods this year
