Just how close are the bike racks to the actual establishment?
Max
The establishment is on the riverside path. You just chain your bike to the chain that is the fence and sit 2m from your bike

Thanks for that, Comedian. For some reason, I thought this place was at Southbank. Turns out it's at the Eagle St pier. No way I'm riding my bike through the CBD in peak hour on a Friday night! I might catch the train in. Max

Whimp! From Southbank ride across the Goodwill bridge, through the gardens and along the river to Eagle pier. Zero cars.

I agree. I can get from my home in Taringa to Riverside without touching a road!

It's a nice ride through the gardens: map (although you don't want to take the 'low road' there - just stick to the main paver path until you get to the gate at the end of Edward St - then head down the ramp onto the boardwalk.

Absolutely! Just go through Roma St Parklands, up Turbot St (on the footpath!) and then onto the riverside bikeway and through the botanic gardens and it leads straight there. That's how I'll be getting there and reversing it to come home.

Ok, there seems like a consensus on a date. I'll book a table.
I know it doesn't work for quite everyone but that was never likely anyway. If everyone has fun and we don't get thrown out for airzounding other patrons we'll do it again!

Well I've booked a table. What could possibly go wrong? I just want to go on record that I don't want anyone playing with my airzound while everyone is drinking.

BUMP! Absolutely bring whoever you like. Would be great to meet MR MM/SM. It's not too long now. Mango man and I are just going to make sure the venue is all good this Friday too. My booking is for 20 so I think that should cover it at this point. I might put the word out on Brisbane cyclist too.

Excellent. The great thing I found about the Melbourne and Sydney meetups in 2010 when I was last over was the diversity of members who turned up. Obviously there were extra points for those who donned official BNA gear, yes - there are more BNA caps available (if that's not shameless I don't know what is). Have a good one - and if there are ideas, I am very receptive. For example the Melbourne meetup was the catalyst for the women's section in the forum and also some pro cycling women's interviews and women's cycling gear review on the main BNA. p.s. Minus points if you don't look like your avatar!

Partners definitely. As to dogs... Not sure. We will be sitting on a public walkway so you would think so

I'll be there. Looking forward to it. I might get there early just to check that all the beers are safe to drink.
