Going to purchase the BikeForce Oxenford jersey for this one as when I signed up it was with that groups team.

Always good to ride as a group! I also need a white jersey... as the other ones I have a black and they are getting to warm now.

The long-range forecast is looking good with a northerly wind. Hamster loves tailwinds :D

Ldr, you can still drop out. Take one for the team so we can have our tailwind!

Lol, well there's a first time for everything, and i would love to have a tailwind for the first time! Either that or you can all just suck wheel while i grovel and drool into the wind lol.

I'm ok with either option LOL. I'll just have to make sure I draft far enough back that the drool misses me!

Great news guys, the forecast is now for a south-easterly at 19 kph so basically a headwind. While these extended-range forecasts are pretty flakey the good thing is that it's looking like it will be nice and dry.

Hamster has Pierre in at the LBS getting a check-over, so it you see a fat, bald, old, red-faced and grumpy dude on a black Peugeot that'll be me.

I'm not that fussed about a headwind... just as long as it hangs around for the return leg!

You want a headwind on the way down and then a headwind on the way back  :o

Not sure if it mentioned it in the letter but the PDF which has details all about the ride is now uploaded I had been looking for something like this and it has a lot of useful information.
