if you lot go faster than i can handle i will just go at my own pace, even though the pushing might do me good.

The cold ain't too bad but most likely we will get some head or cross wind somewhere
Waza, don't worry about the pace we will hold it for everyone to be able to hang on and tag along and if this becomes a regular going it will only help us all having more people in the group and start pulling some longer distances easier
Still don't know what jersey to wear .... Damn it !
See you all Sunday

I cant make it tomorrow but would be keen to join in next time. I live off Perse Rd so would probably meet with Waza at the bunnings on Compton Rd. Sounds like a nice group forming. Perhaps start another (easier to find thread) to post weekly updates on rides and routes?
Cheers
Rob

I wont nominate myself as I am riding from Brisbane to Sydney in October and will be out of action for 2 weeks and won't be able to commit to anything then and also I am useless with direction and routes rides so better leave it to the locals to nominate and take the lead (Happy to do work on the front in rides no problems as long as someone tells me when to turn )
Start at Forest Lake 6am then 1st stop Blunder Road / Inala service station

Nice. Ill jump over to that one when you set it up. Perhaps use a bolded weekly format for ride details to make it easier to see the next ride (saves you going back thru pages of thread comments to figure it out). egWaza wrote:ok im still good to go. will see you all in the morning.

Just a suggestion Any thoughts?

between my hill fitness not being there and my bike not letting me go onto the small chain ring without throwing off the chain, it was a good ride.
i kept going for a bit but turned around and headed home. i went all the way home instead of getting picked up again, so still did 40k's all up.
cant wait to get my new bike...

Well according to my GPS (which fell off) we averaged just over 30kph for the trip (on the road) - excluding the stop for coffee. Faster out than back but only slightly.
If you are not getting into the chainring properly it only sounds like a front Derailleur adjust.

Waza, sorry to see that the bike didn't play the game but as schurms said could be the front derailleur
Schurms, impressive effort and good work you did at the front today
I was burning by end end of it, think the new seat needs adjusting a tad but thanks heaps, really enjoyed it and glad I could keep up considering I haven't been out for a couple of weeks.
Keep us-posted on the next upcoming rides and for sure would come along
Happy riding to all .... Now time for a nana nap

something to suggest terrain...ie flat / hills maybe expressed as a percentage ie 70/30punk_rob wrote:Nice. Ill jump over to that one when you set it up.
