I am still using it every so often when using my own bike is not practical. Current usage is only 600 trips a day. I believe this would jump up to 800 a day if New Fram was once again connected by some infrastructure.
The fact is even though these bikes are heavly on the flat you can still get some respectable speed. The 5kms between Toowong and QUT Gardens Point I can do in 15mins. This is only 1 minute slower then using Citycat and means I have an average speed of 20kmph. The fact is for many inner city trips even these bikes are quicker then using public transport.
I just wish I had my New Farm-CBD link restated as climbing Ivory Lane Drives me nuts
