Hi All,

I have myself and a couple of mates doing a ride from Waterford to Tamborine Mountain on the 13th of November, yes a week before the Tour de Tamborine for a bit of practice. Will be leaving between 5:30am to 6am meeting point the pub at Waterford.

If you are interested please come along more the better.

How are your getting there - biking it or driving to the start?

I was going to head to Mt T for the first time this Sunday (6th) morning starting in Brisbane, should be about 140k all up.
Anyone is welcome to join me.
Might join you next weekend depending how much Sunday hurts

From Brisbane to "the top" of Mt Tamborine and back to brisbane, wouldn't that be a bit greater distance than 140 km ?
Beware of adverse traffic conditions south of brisbane.

What route were you intending, for reason of future reference ?
I am already "spoken for" this sunday.

Just checked my route, from Inner Brisbane (Via Mt G) to Nth Tamborine (is there a diff?) 145km.

Matt cheers I was going to ride as it is probably only 30mins or so to Waterford. We just need to tee up a time to leave Parkinson. Early on I would go down the motorway to Browns Plains Road then straight through to Waterford.

So count me in for the 13th... I will be 50 and 1 day so, you will have to take it easy on me

Crawf would have joined you too but I have another ride already planned for Sunday this w/e.

This is a bump up for anyone who wants to join us for a Sunday ride, also good practice for next weekends tour de tamborine.

Schrums, we could meet at the intersection of Algester, Beaudesert and Illiawina (spelling) at say 5:15am or a time of your taking. The others who where to tag along are a no show as they are going to a MTB race later in the day.
