Lane Control. In practice this means that for the most part I occupy the centre of the lane in which I am travelling and as a consequence those routes are completely safe.
In fact, if you ride "Big" all urban cycling in good visibility is completely safe. I would encourage anyone who feels that higher volumes of traffic automatically constitutes a hazardous environment to re-examine their safety strategies
