Dave rode over 14,000 kms in 37 days - averaging an incredible 375 kms a day!! For more information on this amazing effort check out his website - http://www.racearoundaus.com.au
Here is a wonderful chance for you to ride with this world record holder for cycling around Australia - David Alley - and at the same time help raise funds for the RTCC!
Daily rides from 29 February until 5 March - starting at 06:00 a.m.
Gather at Woody Point - Redcliffe Peninsula - opposite FeelGoodz Cafe, Shop 7, Point Plaza - 14 Oxley Ave, Woody Point.
The ride will therefore be able to start and finish at the start / end point of his amazing ride - Apex Park, Woody Point!!
Dave will meet and chat with the group and give basic coaching tips, motivation tips, etc followed by an up to 3 hour ride - (all abilities catered for).
The morning will finish with coffee and a chat at Feel Goodz Gourmet cafe – giving you the chance to talk to Dave about his amazing 'Race Around Australia".
There will be a charge of $50 per person (plus buy your own coffee).
A portion of this fee will be going to the High Hopes Team - as fund-raising for the RTCC. (Ride to Cure Cancer)
We need a minimum number of 6 riders per session. All rides will start at 6:00 am.
Wednesday - 29th February
Thursday - 1st March (Beginner to Intermediate)
Friday - 2nd March
Saturday - 3rd March
Sunday - 4th March
Monday - 5th March
If you are interested - please indicate what day - or days you are interested in, and I will compile a list.
Please indicate if you are a Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced rider - so we can perhaps have riders of roughly even ability in each group.
Feel free to ask any questions - and I'll try to answer them!!
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet, ride with and chat to an amazing achiever!!!
I have set up an "event" for this on Facebook - so you can indicate your interest there:
or leave a message on here.
Thanks - Brenda
