Who's in for tomorrow morning? I don't know the way so hopefully someone else is on :)

Also, before I post to marketplace looking for bits, I might check to see who has what floating around in gear/parts boxes:
I'm chasing a saddle, tyres and binder bolts for seatpost.

I'm there, gotta give munga some folding for a frame.

I can't make it next Saturday though, working all weekend (before you say that sux), I'll be on penalties for both 12 hours days so will help pay for the next project (Project Superlight, but don't tell anyone as it's secret squirrel business :lol: ).

Riding the Vertex but no looking at the wheels, the rear's sort of retro (95 Rigida), but the front maybe a little far off retro for a bit, now looking for a Rigida DP18 deep section rim as my front was dangerous, lucky I spotted it before I actually rode it.

Found this------------ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEvX_vKDYEw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Looking to try & get you guys on the helmet cam doing likewise on Saturday.

Ok all the video's of yesterday's Raturday Retro Riverloop are uploaded to youtube, the camera didn't go flat this time, not sure what they're like as I'm only just about to watch them myself, I probably spent maybe too much time out the front, but I'll try to fix that one next time.

Ok in order from 1 to 18 here they are below------------

Ok, note to self for the next ride-------------

1/. Try to stay behind the other riders so the video is interesting & people actually see all the steel eye candy.

2/. Leave the potty mouth at home.

Yep, I am he with the potty mouth that leads to warnings of 'language', sorry peoples, I get relaxed when I ride, especially with a bunch of guys who are relaxed & pretty good blokes.

BUT.......... Who is this perpetrator of the random acts of kindness towards strangers? Do we have a lycra wearing superhero in our midst? (yeah I know all superhero's wear lycra but I was trying to make a point)

Ya got me on which one you were referring to?

:lol: Na not moi, I said hello & yelled a bit of encouragement to the young kid because he was out having a go & kids deserve encouragement in any sport, plus he looked like he was really having a ball.

I said hello to all the others because Mr Cranky is alive & well amongst Brissie cyclists, saying hello usually annoys most cyclists, which is why I do it, basically I'm just a serial pest that really enjoys cycling as well as annoying people who take is seriously (I mean why do they do it if they aren't enjoying it??? They're not impressing me & they probably don't impress the average Joe).

So a word to other Brissie cyclists, if you see an old, overweight, bugger on retro bikes & he says hello, waves or generally tries to engage you in some mindless conversation, it's me, I'm doing it because it may annoy you & you may realise that you're actually cycling because you enjoy it, to do that you don't have to take it or yourself so serious, life's too short, oh & yes I know I'm wearing odd socks, I do that to annoy you as well.

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
