Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DRe: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DI'm just in the negotiation process for some early Campy stuff (scary for me as I've never ever run Campy, I've avoided it like the plague), not sure at present so I'm still keeping my options open. So if you can bring them one Saturday, I'll have a look . Thanks mate.
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DI am riding in from home this week to start getting some Ks under my belt/saddle for b2gc. It should be interesting as it should be ~80k by the time I get back home. Meanwhile does any one have a BB tool for cartridge type BBs that I could borrow? I'm doing some changes on the Repco as practice when the Gefsco is ready for assembly.

I've got a couple of Suntour Sl front derailleurs lying around if you want to slum it a bit. Nice little bits of kit. Death before Di2!

Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DSmall Run could be quicker, especially with standard colour palette.
I ride 25s on the basis that they divide more easily into 100 than 23s.
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :Dwouldn't count on it

Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :D
Thanks mate, I'll keep that in mind, my preference is always Suntour but I've had no experience with the Italian component maker that starts with C, I guess I'm thinking that within financial common sense I'll try them, but the same can be said of the Superbe stuff, I can buy a whole groupset for US$800 from a dealer in the US (yeah right I'll part with that much for gear that I can't examine, I'm not sure if I'd pay that for a local groupo), what I have is time, it's bike #13 for me, I'm not in a balls out hurry to build the bike in the next 10 minutes, so if it takes a few months or even a year, I'll be happy with that.
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :D
I'm hopeful. More chance of them coming than the viner being ready, though. I ride 25s on the basis that they divide more easily into 100 than 23s.
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :Dwhaddaya need for the viner?

Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :D
I need: The group to arrive von Deutschland Tidy up the frame just a touch - vaeske's photo made it look a whole lot filthier than it actually is Build - headset, bars, etc coming also from Germany Actually, I don't need much - but you're running a connex, right? Your thoughts on that would be welcomed. Maybe it will be ready - don't trust aus post to get a package to me next week though. Alternative is to gear up the superlite, but single speeding to the coast is a nice challenge too... I ride 25s on the basis that they divide more easily into 100 than 23s.
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :Di have a kmc on the raleigh - it works. $9 at lbs.
don't count on bike24 being less than 3 weeks delivery. internet experts: ruining bikes since '10 | http://www.redbubble.com/people/munga
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DMy KMC 1/8" have all been fantastic.
That package will get from Oëttingen to Sydney faster than it gets from Sydney to Brisbane, I'm predicting. Probably chasing some SPD road pedals too, or maybe just another set of M535s Tyres too actually, should probably have chucked some schwalbes in with the order but anyway. Vaeske's yellow offerings were a bit too lairy for me and a saddle - the NOS yellow striped team colours job i was offered was awesome, but not entirely my bag. I ride 25s on the basis that they divide more easily into 100 than 23s.
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :Dglad the viner went to a good home. it was getting neglected. Can't wait for the build pics dude. GL.
now, anyone interested in some cinelli #14 steel track bars?
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :D
suppose I'd better take some I ride 25s on the basis that they divide more easily into 100 than 23s.
Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DOk decision made, I'm going to fit Campy Nuovo Record to the Superlight, so if you have stuff or know of someone with said stuff, I'm interested.
Also looking for similar age Campy hubs or wheels. Talk to me on Saturday & be very jealous when munga brings the frame for me to drool over.

Re: Retro Riverloop Raturdays :DAre you going after that stuff yourself?????
At present guesstimate it's going to cost me about $700 plus wheels to fit the Campy stuff, I think that's nearly a whole groupo, bar brakes. Don't worry about polishing it mate, I can run the buff over it before I start building it.
