Hi all, I have just passed an accident this morning on the Deagon Deviation traveling south from Redcliffe, saw a cyclist down, not sure his condition, ambo's were working on him :( .IMHO not a good road to use due to the 90k limit as well as a narrow shoulder, we always cut through Sandgate and Brighton. Hope he is ok, if anyone knows the outcome, please let us know.

As I was riding by on the Deagon Deviation bikepath I saw the ambo, fire and heaps of police there with the bike laying on the road still. From the update at the police site: http://mypolice.qld.gov.au/blog/2012/08 ... -brighton/

"The 40-year-old male cyclist was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with critical head injuries. "

I hope he will be ok - just the sight of it made me sick hoping the guy survived as I rode by.
