BQ thinks we should just put up up with our busiest bike path being too narrow...at least that's what this statement implies:

ps - IMO it is WAY too narrow for the traffic it gets and that bump in the concrete from a tree root half way between the regatta and oxley's gets me every 2nd time i ride it...

I also saw that today. I am personally very disappointed with BQ they barely say anything against any government. They only seam to be focusing on events now. I personally get the feeling that it seams that the CBD bug is doing more letters per member then BQ is.

you know something - i am joining the CBD bug - i tried to a few weeks back but my email bounced. but i'm comin to the next meeting...

the coro bike path has been a media issue for a while now. i remember about 5 years ago this same story was written as "news" in the news ltd papers. just like most media outlets - they recycle stories endlessly. back then Ben Wilson was more aggressive. but it seems to me that this time around BQ has sold us out.

They (BQ) really come across as an organiser of lame 50km rides, broker of cheap insurance and generally too scared to jeopardise the government funds which at the end of the day are little more than a bribe to keep quiet and a means to keep the doors open and the cheap insurance on offer. I know I am pretty negative about the state of Brisbane as a cycling venue, but I'd dearly love to see some evidence to the contrary.......one day.

This damn thing almost kicked me off my bike when i first rode over it, i got a real fright. Someone needs to paint it yellow or build up the bitumen around it so that it is not so steep.
