Wet roads but still good to have a ride, just hate it that I stripped the bike yesterday and cleaned it. :(

Its good to see you on the right side of the tracks today Foo. The lump on Williams road is perfect for doing hill sprints. Its steep and long enough to make you hurt

I thought I may have passed you going the other way on williams road today.
Its lovely country out in that part of wamuran, i lived there for 20 years.

My nemesis was always the trucks hauling local produce. The wind from them feels like they can blow you and your bike clean off those narrow roads. Then again, I am built like a marathon runner :D

Just a short one but intense, due to chasing the bunch and then chasing a certain Elite Masters rider off the from. Didn't get any closer than 100mtrs as he would look behind and see that I was gaining and then power up again. :( Bloody dirtbag! I just stayed in the pain zone and rode by myself as he had another rider up there with him. :)

I intended just doing a gentle spin today but know I had to go and have two hurt efforts.

It will be a gentle spin by myself tomorrow, as I have the wobbly boot happening at the moment, my legs are wrecked!

Yep Foo, you busted me sneaking in a late one with the ladies. The wife is keen to get back in the saddle a bit more and the daughter had lost interest there for a bit. I sold her 650C bike because the not so little munchkin outgrew it and so I rebuilt a small sized 700C Avanti Giro from scratch for her over Christmas and she's starting to get back into it again. I'm back to a normal  life now after almost 2 years on a fifo roster for my work so I've been enjoying those 0430 early weekday morning rides on weekdays and then trying to get the family back into a bit of tar burning on weekends.

Out early for an easy spin to loosen up the legs but then I find that there are some ring ins encroaching on my turf. It was Paddles trying to sneak around with some of his mates.

Good to stop and meet formally, instead of pointing at you as I wiz past in the opposite direction. 8)

Anyway, it would seem that it will take sometime to get the soreness out of the muscles, after three days of hard efforts. :(

Yeah, it was good to be going in the same direction for a change instead of your bunch wizzing past going the other way. Tony did well for his first ever road ride as a return trip to Sandstone and only ended up with a sore butt, Brocko was happy to just be back on the bike after stacking it off the verandah last weekend and Nicko showed us all up by getting keen and riding Woorim, Beachmere, Toorbul, Woorim for a 100km jaunt. Brockos wife brutalised me at Top 2 Toe massage this morning and I got into trouble for not stretching after riding and she made me pay, i'm still sulking from it

Well I took my new bike, called Scotty out for a run and what a bloody huge difference! Very responsive but so different to the Wheeler. Just need to get used to the weird seat because it has different pressure points but no numb dangly bits, woohoo!
