Pay no attention to him, he's just lulling us into a false sense of security and will rip our legs off as soon as we near a 1%+ grade :P

If you and others want to make the most of it how about we REALLY make the most of it and finish up in Landsborough? Start at the Mt Coot-tha lookout, head up towards Mt Nebo while attempting the Camp Mountain lookout climb before heading off to Mt Glorious and then descend to the park at the bottom on the other side. Climb back up Glorious and on to Samford with a few detours on the way to Dayboro. Up and over Mt Mee to Woodford. Start the climb up to Maleny either going via the easier route for if we have the legs tackle the Bellthorpe Range climb. Maybe bypass Maleny and just head along Mountain View Road to then descend to the Landsborough Pub for some post ride stakes and maybe a beer before making our way across the road to the train station to get the train back to Brisbane. We could claim a quarter of a carriage just to rest our epic leg muscles

I reckon it should be doable for us if we treat it as a gentlemans ride. The only steep climbs would be the Camp Mountain lookout, the short run to the top of Glorious, return up Mt Glorious and the short 12-15% climbs up through to Booroobin. Other than that it should be constant gradual climbing or flats. If its too long for some we could turn around at the Mt Mee lookout or something and head back to Brisbane.

Bellthorpe range would certainly sort you out at the end. Wish I could join you guys.

Madness. I'm allergic to public transport, but if a return loop can be concocted then yeh.

Hmmm, getting to Landsborough would be epic but I wouldn't trust my dicky knee to hold up that long, I'm aiming for Mt Mee, if I can follow you guys there I'll be stoked, I'd be quite happy to roll home from there on my own if you keep going north.

I take 'gentlemens ride' to mean us gentlebozos in the rear do our best to keep up knowing those gentleguns in front will pull up at the top to let us catch up. I expect to ride faster than I would on my own but not so hard that I can't enjoy the trip!

100% sprinters pace! Haha. Nah. It should be a easy pace. Nothing too fast but nothing too slow - maybe except the ride up glorious from the back if we end up there :P There might be a few sprints for the sake of a small pinch ie the 12% final climb up glorious before the restaurant :P There should also be catch up points too. Last time we did our own pace and regrouped at Mt Nebo and at the top of Mt Glorious. When we head to Dayboro we'll also regroup for safety in numbers along with taking the scenic route away from the 100kph signs. If some drop back/struggle I can drop back aswell to keep them company as I'll be on a recovery ride so to say :P

I dunno lol. I'm happy to do whatever at whatever time :P

Maybe meet up at the servo, regroup for the Camp Mountain climb? just for the sake of it, Mt Nebo, Mt Glorious, see how everyone feels and maybe do Glorious reverse or head off to Samford/Dayboro/Mt Mee and back.

Looks to be 4-5 people. Yeah, the same spot would be good (7-11 servo on the corner of Waterworks/Settlement Road). Would 6/6.15 depart be a bit early for some or should it be a bit later? I only suggest the early option to get a good distance up the climb before the motos/day trippers start heading up.
