Well I met up with two of my best mates at Burleigh Heads this morning and barrelled along up to The Spit and back. Stopped at Johnc Cycles Coffee Shop and had a hit/fix.

It was astounding how many riders were out and about.

Is that where all the brisbane cyclists were this morning- down the coast ?
Riverloop seemed quieter than usual.

There was some big race meet to do with Robbie M I believe.

And it was a tough day in the office. Extended course distance, coupled with additional rolling hills, heat and huge headwind back to GC made it a lot tougher than last years event.

Yes I did, really enjoy these type of rides where they are a challenge and takes me out of my comfort zone.
