- I haven't ridden my MTB for months and miss it.
- No caged apes.
- I have to drive to Gap Creek.
- I'll get back home later.
- I am currently a full blown Columbus Brain OS adict. Every time I ride my road bike, I adore the way it feels.
- See above
- Caged apes. They probably won't cause me any grief, but I just loath them anyway.
- One more week away from riding my MTB again.
I need help.

I'm feeling happy about it all. I'll put the serenity to good use. There is something quite awesome about grinding your way through the continuous ups and downs of the BFP on your own for hours on end.
This will be good. I plan to ride from 5.15 till at least around 12.15. Will take pics and post here when I get back.
Thanks for tipping me over everyone. I've crossed back over. May even blast a few singles in Gap Creek if I have time (read: feeling young enough).

A very muggy day. Loads of sweating, huffing and puffing.
A rock garden on the South Boundary Rd
The pic doesn't do it justice.
The shelter on the corner of South Boundary and Scrub Rds
The log at the end of South Boundary next to Mt Nebo Rd
With some other stuff in the way.
Is it a crow? Is it a magpie?
If anyone ever tells you the rumour is false, you'll know better. It appears they do interbreed. There was what seemed to be a breeding pair of these together when I took this pic.
There are some amazing views in the BFP. They are clear and beautiful, but the line of trees you have to look through, ruins most photo opportunities, or at least the better ones.
These were beautiful. I wish I could name them. They had huge wing spans which exposed white and tan tail feathers.
I can never understand why every one of these things looks almost like another species from the last. They are all so unique looking.

The bike is mix of LX and XT with Marzocchi forks. Something similar I'd guess would be around $1800. I'm not sure. I'd never buy another bike off the floor because I don't like disc brakes. The best thing about my bike is the oil filled forks and the V brakes.
Yes, the camera is a Canon IXUS80IS. The miniature I reviewed recently. Kalgrm gave a good review of an original I sent him.
As adicted as I am to the road of late, if I was only able to own one bike, it'd be an MTB. They are the bike for all occasions. I absolutely recomend you get one when the time is right financially. Brisbane is an amazing place for both road and trail. To know hte best road rides and the best trail rides in Brisbane is to have an extaordinary wealth of route knowledge. Rain, hail or shine, there are no excuses. Even if it is bucketing down, I can ride 200km of bike path (if I actually felt like 200km of bike path. Blahhhh).
