Fake sign at Upper Brookfield
I was up that way earlier today (not on a bicycle) and saw another paper sign in a plastic sleeve saying "road unsuitable for elite cyclists" and to stay away.

In the paper the other day someone had dumped gravel across the road at key turns.

Surprised these morons haven't tried tacks as yet. I suppose we know where they live so that might provide some restraint of their selfishness.yugyug wrote:Oh so that's the street with the house on google street view with "no cyclists" signs?

That's the danger is isn't it? If police don't investigate the gravel - already dangerous enough - the perpetrators may believe they can escalate it without repercussion.
Tacks seem to have become a problem in Melbourne and Adelaide over the last year. Can't see why it won't happen in Brisbane, or Sydney.

Why oh why can't every cycling article in the news end with -
Rego does not pay for roads.
It would save a few uneccessary comments!
