Hi guys,
A mate wants to buy a used bike from a seller in QLD (Tanah Merah). We live in VIC. Nothing against the seller, who seems honest, but feeling a little uneasy nevertheless to transfer thousands of dollar away without any guarantee (seller reluctants to use PayPal).
It's a long shot, but any chance anyone here is local to Tanah Merah and is happy to help out? I feel that I can trust someone from here. Details surely to follow, but I was thinking for the 'good Samaritan' to help check the bike, pay the seller (of course we will transfer the fund to your bank account in advance) and ensure the seller pack and post the bike to VIC. We are happy to pay you for your time and generosity.
Please send a PM... Likewise if anyone can think of a better/more efficient way to make this happen?
Thanks

I flew to MEL and back only a month or so ago, return airfare was just $300. Bring a bike bag with you, Save the worry, check it out yourself.

Yep - it would cost close to that for shipping.PiratePete wrote:I flew to MEL and back only a month or so ago, return airfare was just $300. Bring a bike bag with you, Save the worry, check it out yourself.
