I've grabbed the official route for this weekend's Cycle of Giving ride and used it to create what I hope to be an error free version. My version has you ride on the correct side of the road, and where they seem to be planning to ride the full length of Deception Bay along the bike path (yes, so it would seem), my map follows the path rather than a bunch of way points like the official route.
Grab it from here if you want to plug it into your GPS:

Good luck Pete... my first year not riding this.
I am riding the Tour Aotearoa next year and entry is by donation to a registered charity, hence the donation the other day .... plus its a good cause

I'll be there again this year for the 2nd time. Loved it last year (although I was very undertrained & used it as a 'kick up the butt' exercise!), and looking forward to doing it this year with a few more km's in the legs...
If anyone wants to say hi - I'll be wearing my white Aloha 'Rolling Herd' jersey, aboard my white Cell Akuna...

Thanks Calvin, I thought it was just because we had so much fun last year! Fundraising hasn't gone well this year, no one seems interested in pulling money out of their pockets..cancan64 wrote:Good luck Pete... my first year not riding this.

The organisers have responded to my query re the route using the shared path along the waterfront at Deception Bay. They have confirmed that we will be riding nearly 5km of the Moreton Bay bike way.
7-8am on a Sunday morning, can't see 600+ cyclists causing any upset to the locals...

So 99.1km hey? Big question now is how & when do I add the extra 900m to the ride...

Do what I'm going to do, ride to the start...
I'm doing what I did last year, staying the weekend in Lansborough, I think I can stretch my commute to about a K.
