My first hill ride

Hey guys, I finally got the courage to tacle a hill today!
I did the Norton Summit rd and even though that almost killed me, I continued on up Loberthal Rd and gave up and turned back just past Hunters Rd I think (last road I remember seeing).
It was a great ride and the best part was every cyclist I rode past said hi or gave a nod.

Congrats on the hill ride mate, be it won't be your last one...

I recon cyclists are always pretty friendly bu even more so in the hills.

nice work mate,an adelaide classic is norton summit,the more you get into the hills the stronger,fitter and better you will feel.
So many options after norton summit,a right turn on the lobethal rd goes to mt lofty,and a bit further on the left takes you to montacute hts,very scenic,very smooth surface,possibly my favourite descent,keep it up,it only becomes more enjoyable.

Did new Norton Summit Rd myself on Friday. Friggin fantastic weather for it. Continued up Woodss Hill Rd to Mt Lofty and then back down via Eagle on the hill.

Is there much traffic on these roads, such as woods hill road, montacute, lobethal road?

I've been up to norton summitt, never beyond so was wondering how safe it is.
