Anyone had a bike fit at Avanti Plus on Kensington Road?I'm booked in this week but was a little concerned at there approach as he said he doesn't go to crazy with setup. That's fine I guess! maybe I'm reading too much into it. What have other experienced with this bike shop?
Re: Anyone had a bike fit at Avanti Plus on Kensington Road?my only experience with that store was when they attempted to adjust a disc brake and was told 'thats as good as it can get' - only to find later the caliper mounting bolts were finger tight...
for a bike fit you need to see steve nash at corsa cycle centre on gouger st in town if i get killed while out on my bike i dont want a 'memorial ride' by random punters i have never met.
Re: Anyone had a bike fit at Avanti Plus on Kensington Road?Yeah i probably wouldnt waste my money on someone how says he doesnt go crazy on setup when im enquiring about a bike fit. Corsa Cycles seems to have a really good bike fit setup also might be worth talking to Peter at International Cycles on Payneham rd.

Re: Anyone had a bike fit at Avanti Plus on Kensington Road?Is that lifecycles? They have had some positive comments on the forums and I received a few PMs recommending them after I complained about my LBS.
Re: Anyone had a bike fit at Avanti Plus on Kensington Road?Update, I ended up going to Lifecyles and was fitted by Mike. He was very nice to deal with and during the fit process was happy to discuss any questions I raised. I was surprised at how far out my seat was it was raised about 30mm.
Re: Anyone had a bike fit at Avanti Plus on Kensington Road?I've had a fit on Kensington Rd, but then again, I used to live on Kensington Rd.
Sorry not to be more help... glad things were to your liking
