Volunteers needed for SRAM Australian Mountain Bike Champion

Just got this emailled to me... Thought someone on here might be interested.

The SRAM Australian Mountain Bike Championships will be taking place from Tuesday 12 January – Sunday 17 January 2010 at Eagle Park, just a 20 minute drive from the CBD.

The event is looking for 300 volunteers in a variety of positions.

The Event will cover four mountain bike competition disciplines and two demonstrations. They are Downhill, Cross Country, Short Course XC, 4x, and Trials.
With a pump track and dirt jump demonstration events happening all in the one location, you couldn’t want for any more action.

As a volunteer for the SRAM Australian Mountain Bike Championships, you will receive:
- A volunteer pack (including t-shirt and whistle)
- Food
- New friends and memories along with a great fun experience in an extreme adventure sport

Areas of operation we require volunteers for are:
- Registration
- Track Marshals
- Spectator traffic management
- Information
- Village Assistance
- Timing
