on Sat. afternoon while riding in the Adelaide Hills, I got a puncture and spent some time (wrong tools and spare tube) fixing it. Lots of cyclists went past and I think virtually everyone offered help, which is great, much appreciated.
Peter
thanks to everyone who offered help

Peter Please be nice to me, I'm not very bright.
Re: thanks to everyone who offered helpThat's great to hear, considering a large number of cyclists I pass around here (Adelaide Hills) are not at all friendly and will often pass me by without even a glance in my direction.
Re: thanks to everyone who offered helphmmmm interesting. I find most cyclists in the hills area pretty friendly with most exchanging nods/waves etc.. however I've noticed this isn't the same out in the western suburbs.. port adelaide/west lakes etc..
Re: thanks to everyone who offered helpYeah I'll back that one up. I live near glenelg so do a fair few beach ks and the vast majority wont acknowledge you at all. Hills are much friendlier
Re: thanks to everyone who offered helpI always make an effort to at least ask, it doesn't take much.
99% of people are OK, but sometimes, that offer of help is just what some people need. Remember, karma pays back !!!
