Eddy Merckx coming to Adelaide
Postby Trev Campbell » Thu Aug 04, 2011 2:01 pm
Cycling Legend Eddy Merckx is coming to Adelaide for next years TDU and may even ride in the Community Challenge. Great news, well done to the TDU organisers
Great Jens Voigt Quotes:
"I get paid to hurt other people, how good is that?"
"Shut up legs"

Who?
Wow, what a coup to have Eddy Merckx at the TDU, and with an extension to the contract announced it looks set to stay for a good while longer. Good work by Mike Turtur and the gang.

That'll niggle the Herald Sun Tour guys - they were aiming to steal the thunder from the TdU.

I dont see why they dont just work with the TdU and have 2 good races here! Im sure they may struggle to get the same line up as TdU but may get a few big names stay fr the nice weatherMichaelB wrote:you cannot be sirrus wrote: ...., and with an extension to the contract announced it looks set to stay for a good while longer.
