The carpark is on the corner of seaview rd & the southern end of the esplanade at Henley beach south.woteva wrote:Hi.
I would like to come along on this ride, but I don't know the area too well.
Could someone please post a map here, or even a street address that I could look up in my directory?
(I mean to the carpark that you are going to meet at)
Thanks, and I will see you there.
A.
Hope we see you there.

I'm sure the actual route is probably a bit different, but from the description I made a rough map:

A wee bit different but that's essentially the triangle - very few roads in my route and I'm certainly no fan of playing on main roadskhendar wrote:I'm sure the actual route is probably a bit different, but from the description I made a rough map:

Pretty much beach front all the way to just past the Glenelg North marina, then turn up to the Pat, across the barrages and some back streets to the very end of the Sturt River path. Skips Anzac Highway and the lunatics in Glenelg itself all together. Similarly, I'm no fan of Port Road in front of Coca-cola so I go through Bonython Park itself. The only sticking point might be the new overpass on Henley Beach Rd - you could get through there on a path when I was there a few weeks back but it is a construction area and things keep changing.
I like my rides relaxed and seeing it's out first time together, we'll keep it that way (the request WAS for a 'casual' ride.
Hmm, I'd better start loading the van. See you all there
Richard
I had a good bike ... so I fixed it

That sounds good.
We could leave from the city, go up one side of the Torrens, to the bottom of Gorge rd. and down the other, or up the O-Bahn to TTP or a combination of both.
We could decide on the day.
