The route is a climb up Norton Summit Norton Summit then a further shorter climb up Woods Hill Rd (I assume) to Greenhill Rd and a nice descent with awesome views of the city.
Norton summit is about 5.5 km (AT) 5%, a tad steeper on a couple of hairpins but only for a short distance. A group I ride with use the route for their slow/medium riders and everyone manages to getup, stronger riders can attack it if they so desire.

Note to self : practice more hill climbing !

It's a lot easier than Menglers and you'll have no trouble keeping up with me.

yep great ride today, great to put some faces to names. Good to have a chat after aswell. We must do this again next TDU and maybe try a flat ride to get some more in from interstate. Very tough on the way home for me though, city to Modbury into a tough head wind. I think I left my energy somewhere near the top of Greenhill road!!!. :o

Quoted at presentations:
37000 people travelled to SA for the TDU. Never seen so many bike boxes at an airport?

Yep, good one, all. I was the back-marker (no surprise).

Thanks to Rob for being road captain.

Too modest, your descent of Greenhill was a sight to behold, awesome trying to follow you, although passing the red Mitsi was outside my league. I could sense the driver thinking the bikes would slow her down, she got that one wrong :D

Crikey! I thought it was blue.

What do the red traffic lights mean again?

Pale green is what my taxi driver friend calls 'em.

That bl**dy roundabout gets me every time!

Thanks all for a short/sharp ride.
Sorry to tassie GE bloke (Scot?) who must've been a 'wee' bit suprised by my tail out antics at bottom of
Greenhill.
I volunteer to organise a route next year....longer/more D/H!
