No comment on Nude beaches, gory murders or crimes... the night riding is good tho, the roads get pretty empty at night

I've just updated my log. At a guess I am falling behind last year. Hopefully the social contract to be involved and company will still allow me time to at least hold steady. Arriving tomorrow evening. Should be riding on Monday.

Is there any chance of cold or wet over there in the next seven days? I am contemplating if I need to take a parka or pancho.

not likely, best we can offer is some cloud on some days: forecast afternoon breezes from Wednesday will be like your 'Doctor'

So it'll be just like home. All I need to complete the illusion is to find some drinkable water.

Oh well, I don't intend drinking much water anyway.

water refill points with our best tap water, now 'improved' with the desalination plant output, then enjoy the after ride refreshments.

Sitting in my brothers backyard in Henley Beach drinking too much fairly average white either and thinking that I may have to start my riding in SA with a mild hangover.

Tech. Hot muggy and uncomfortable. Just like Perth was as I left.

Still, I had a good ride along the beachfront north of Henley Beach. around West Lakes. the Island, past AAMI stadium, back top there coast and back to home base. Worth done detours and exploring here and there I managers a little over 20 km.

Tomorrow if it can be worked into everyones schedule I may try a run down to Glenelg, Its my brothers 60th so I will need to work off some good cheer before hand.

Heading out for a ride before an early morning swim to celebrate my bros 60th. Now I get to if its true that you guys in the city of churches really do have two heads

I have already established that while not necessarily being backward that you guys at least upside down. I will publish the photographic proof later. Lol

Two good days riding and then I come down with a stomach bug. Not happy Jan!

Made up for yesterday on the bed and of the unicycle. Did a bit of ambling and shopping in Adelaide CBD and the a ride down the Towns to the ocean. Running out of days I took a left and headed in to z Glenelg, wandered sound a bit, headed back overspending home turn f for some refreshments (who says WA coffee shops are the most expensive?) then home. 46km and a mild case of sale rash.

I was most impressed with the Torrents strip. Narrow and not close to being a speedy committee track it was exactly what a recreational ride should be. And those etched metal linear maps are a gem. Indeed the only "fault " I could pick odds that they don't continue all the way.

But that is unfair as if it was not for the standard they set close to the CBD then I would not even have even thought about it. So not a fault, more a "wouldn't it be nice if...

All finished. Left Adelaide for a weekend at Carrrickalinga/Normanville/Ynakalilla. DId some riding around there and then packed up and headed to the airport.

I would have liked to have also done a day or two exploring around Adelaide - CBD, parks surrounding it, waterways and North Adelaide. Perhaps next time.

Overall it was worth the trouble of packing it all up and extra processing at the airports.
