Be careful on Mt Stromlo Road - accidents have happenedThe ANU, the manager of the Mt Stromlo Observatory, has asked that cyclists using the Mt Stromlo Road observe the following common sense rules: ride in single file; keep to the left; and be observant at all times particularly when approaching the boom gate located half-way up the mountain. Two riders have recently collided with the gate. The gate is open from 7.00am to 6.00pm. A sensor will operate the gate when closed but riders need to dismount to activate the sensor.
Re: Be careful on Mt Stromlo Road - accidents have happenedBegs the question - how dumb were they?
I ride, therefore I am.
...real cyclists don't have squeaky chains...
Re: Be careful on Mt Stromlo Road - accidents have happenedI thought the same but had to remember I trashed a bike once by looking back to check my RD gear selection (back in the day of down tube shifters) and riding into the back of a parked car
