I'm working but the Wife is doing the 65km option, as a prelude to the following weekends "Gear up Girl", I'm stoked that she has got into bike riding :D

My partner is also doing the Gear up girl. Should get her to do the Amy as well. Although her hybrid bike is a bit heavy for cotter-uriarra.

Im with you. Stoked my girl enjoys cycling.

I'll be doing the 65km option.

Hey, did anyone receive a jersey in the mail? I signed up at the start of February, asked them to send out the jersey (and paid the extra $) but nothing has appeared yet.

Race number?! I thought it was a charity ride

Glad to hear the jersey arrived today. Was beginning to wonder whether they'd sent them out. Still waiting for mine...tomorrow hopefully.

Lucas, how long is the zipper on the jerseys? I'm guessing no longer then half length :( which means I'll prob wear my new Pearl Izumi jersey as i'm a sucker for full length zippers.

Jersey arrived, fits perfectly. Nice. Personally I prefer the half zip so I'm happy. And I'm number 0085.

Only one thing remaining...which bike to ride? I favouring the steel frame...heavier but more comfy than the race bike.

Hmmm, so while I'm not particpating (Damn  ) I'll probably rock up to the start line or thereabouts and say G'day to a few of you, and pass out the odd friendly pat on the back or something. I'll be on a black avanti, red bottles, black knicks, daggy old helmet and sunnies. See you there and best of luck to everyone riding. Stay safe!
