I left home at 7.30 in the fog assuming it would clear up by the time I got to work. 43km later the fog is still as thick as when I headed out. Bizarre. This was the identical ride I did last Tuesday...was 5 seconds slower ...I blame the fogHAKS wrote:Awesome day for riding. Thick fog on the way to work at dawn, beautiful clear skies and warm temps on the way home.
Nice casual 6km ride home.

Had to ride the Old Man's Steel Spokesman as mine is getting a service. Makes you appreciate STI levers instead of downtube friction shifters, but it was nice nonetheless

I've ridden nearby (Dairy Flat rd) the new path the last few days and was wondering if the loop was completed yet.rockviewau wrote: good to see the bike path around that side is almost done!!

I wonder if there will be a new link in Kingston between Telopea Pk and the wetlands. Going through Kingston on roads or footpaths isnt ideal, and it would be the only place left where there isnt a continuous stretch of bike path.

And the winner of todays race was...(drum roll please)...twizzle! Despite losing touch with the lead group at the start of the three sisters climb he managed to claw his way back, catch and then pass the leaders and cross the finish line with about a 20m gap to the next rider. Awesome stuff.
