62km - out to the Turf farms behind Windsor and back. Intervals along the way. Felt like throwing up.

Awesome day for riding. Thick fog on the way to work at dawn, beautiful clear skies and warm temps on the way home.

To work - 20km
Work - Home - 46km

I left home at 7.30 in the fog assuming it would clear up by the time I got to work. 43km later the fog is still as thick as when I headed out. Bizarre. This was the identical ride I did last Tuesday...was 5 seconds slower  ...I blame the fog :)

Nice casual 6km ride home.

I was a total lazy sh-t and didn't touch the bike between the race on Sunday and racing tonight. Gear problems in the race (front derailleur keeps on going out of adjustment) and had the chain skip under power and cause ongoing dramas which turned out to be the locknut on the axle had come loose and the hub/cassette were floating on the axle. Still came 4'th. Back to riding tomorrow.
I ride, therefore I am.

Went for a good ride this morning down to Holt sewerage works and back up Southern Cross Dr then left on to Kingsford Smith Dr and back to Gungahlin. I didn't record any times or power figures but going by my perceived effort I was feeling good and strong, probably the best I've been in a while. Usually the third pinch going up Kingsford Smith gets the better of me but today I powered over it. :D

10 Km's with my sister who is still learning. Was pleased to see a motorcycle officer booking a couple of clowns (read: bogans) for riding one of those stupid pocket motorbikes on the bike path. I'd hate to see what the fine is. Suckers
Had to ride the Old Man's Steel Spokesman as mine is getting a service. Makes you appreciate STI levers instead of downtube friction shifters, but it was nice nonetheless

I've ridden nearby (Dairy Flat rd) the new path the last few days and was wondering if the loop was completed yet.

Its 20km Scrivener to Kings Ave Bridge & back to Scrivener. Central basin is 5km. My guess is east basin would be about 10km so looking at a 30km loop once its done. Nice little time trial

21km. You count 'em more accurately when you run it...

I wonder if there will be a new link in Kingston between Telopea Pk and the wetlands. Going through Kingston on roads or footpaths isnt ideal, and it would be the only place left where there isnt a continuous stretch of bike path.

LBG loop going thru the Jerra wetlands is 31km on the cycle computer(Sigma 1606DTS), it used to be skittish going thru there on 23mm tyres, great to hear the path is nearing completion.

ACT Vets race from Stromlo Forest Park, through Uriarra Crossing and beyond and return. First C grade race in about 5 months. Man those boys can move...needless to say I was dropped on the return climb out of Uriarra Crossing. Still managed over 32km/h for the 44km so I'm happy.

And the winner of todays race was...(drum roll please)...twizzle! Despite losing touch with the lead group at the start of the three sisters climb he managed to claw his way back, catch and then pass the leaders and cross the finish line with about a 20m gap to the next rider. Awesome stuff.

I did the Vikings TT today from SFP to the top of Three Sisters (turnaround at Camp Sturt) and return to SFP. It was a bit confusing for the timekeepers with Vets guys racing on the same course. Pretty slow time, a wobbly 38.30 - first time out on a dedicated TT bike (think I may of been quicker on my normal roadie with aero bars).
