Another small rider? How massive are the reacto sizes? My top tube on my small (50cm) is the same height at the seat post as a mates Cervelo S3 56cm.

I had a consistent BB creak that got particularly nasty at times. Different cranks, 2 sets of bearings and multiple dismantle/ clean/ reinstall's didn't make a difference. Frame replaced under warranty. Only issue I have had, though. Great bike otherwise. Comfy and responsive. I have done 350kms in a day on mine and came away with no back problems. Pretty good for such aggressive geometry.

I had a skeaky BB with my Dura Ace cranks on my Reacto as well. Ended up cleaning up the thread and guessing a ton of lithium grease.

Ta for the feedback. The shimano BB operates differently to BB30. Its probably a little hardier than BB30, but is far more complex and a bit heavier. I was given the option of running an adapter with a new set of shimano cranks. I opted for the SLK cranks (they're soooo light!) and BB30. Should know if there is an issue again in about 6 months.

Yep I'm a small. It's a weird geometry with them and they are big for a little frame...

Another nice ride this morning from Dunlop and around civic, albeit a small one. Got home and started the post ride ritual of a wipe down while sipping a nice strong coffee.

Started the wipe down and discovered two 1" cracks at the bottom of the seat tube, running across the bottom bracket shell. Bike has only done about 300kms.

Dropped it into Cycle City, and they anticipate about a two week turnaround. Woe is me...

New frame is on the way and should have it back inside of two weeks. Talk about teething probs with this bike...

Took the afternoon off and rode hard out to Collector and back yesterday. Stoked with my speed after a cold winter of injury and sickness... 213540445

Looked out window, checked performance management chart and updated planned training... rang wife, got a lift home. Just not worth getting the shoes soaked.

Awesome ride today, sun was out and the weather was delightful.

Went up Mt Ainslie and manged to hit the 80km/h on the descent. Then went and had coffee. About 45k all up and plan on doing the same next weekend.

Got 20 km through a planned 50km ride this arvo. Got 2 flats within 10 minutes of each other (just before and just after Coppins Crossing) and only had one spare tube. Used up one of my get of jail free cards and the wife & kids came and picked me up from Stromlo. Will now ride with patches from now on.

Canberra's winter now the frostiest in 15 years

Another freezing morning this morning, I'm getting a bit over it to be honest. Sunrise at the top of Red Hill was nice but I would put up with a few less spectacular sunrises if the weather was just a little bit warmer (over 0°C isn't asking too much is it?).

I was atop Stromlo. It felt about 3-4 deg warmer up there than in the valley below. -5deg this morning is getting too much. Its -2 predicted tonight. I reckon it will be about -4 again, screw it. Cant wait for summer. Hope it warms up before the Scott.

Strange thing is (before the tea party climate nay sayers start getting excited) that the minimums are well below average, but the maximums are almost a degree above average too.

I was on the way down the hill as you guys were going up!

Yes I've noticed the temp differences between the top and bottom of the hill lately as well.

My day was going great till I managed to snap a chain on the NewRY bike.

Broken derailure hanger, broken spokes AMD a missing derailure.

I though the 25 - 30kph wind for the final few k's to work was bad enough, currently blowing 45kph with 70kph gusts!
