Pedal Power Cordon Count - 2010

One for the commuters...

On the morning of Tuesday March 10 at 31 different locations around the city, Pedal Power conducted their annual cordon count. Not sure how long the report has been out but it landed in my inbox today and makes for interesting reading (..and I just love a graph!)

An impressive 64 per cent increase in bicycle commuting over the past 6 years into civic (11 per cent over the past year). Commonwealth Avenue Bridge sees one bike every 9 seconds between 7:30am and 9:00am!
