Cheers Eric and Ross. Got home fine.

After 5 weeks of eating and slothing around [and gaining 4 kilos], yesterday was just the tonic to wake me from my winter slumber.

The ease with which you guys shelled me on every climb means that as of today, I have officially given up eating and will be punishing myself with a program of trainer sessions and hill repeats.

Fitz's Extreme seems unobtainable to me at the moment but I'm determined!

Thanks again.

Thanks to you guys for the ride too. Eric smashed me on the climbs as well so I was sharing your pain, Simon. Ended up being 125km for me yesterday. Sorry to Eric for leading you on a bit of a wild goose chase through Tuggeranong. I was trying to get on to Athlon Dr but being from the Northside I'm a little 'directionally challenged' when it comes to the South. Erindale Dr ended up being close enough and a challenging climb as well (though probably the steepest and longest out of Johnson/Erindale and Arhlon Dr).

Simon, you are a better man than me, contemplating doing Fitz's Epic, I need to have a lie down just thinking about it.
