Vikings are running the ACT Hill Climb Champs this Saturday at Corin. See below for details (need to have a Cycling Australia racing licence for this event):
ACT Hill Climb Champs 2011
Date: Saturday 19th November 2011
Time: First rider leaves at 9am, registration opens at 8:30am
Distance: 12.6 kms for an elevation gain of 535 m (4.2% average gradient)
Entry Cost: $5 for full course, $2 for juniors
Grades: Championship medals for the following categories:
U15 / U17 Women
U19 Women
Elite Women
Masters Women 1 / 2
Masters Women 3 / 4
Masters Women 5 / 6 / 7
U15 / U17 Men
U19 Men
U23 Men
Elite Men
Masters Men 1 / 2
Masters Men 3 / 4
Masters Men 5 / 6
Masters Men 7 / 8
A short course will be offered for juniors, but this is not a championship event.

Course: Start on Corin Rd, approximately 500m from the corner with Tidbinbilla Rd. The course heads up the main Corin climb to finish just past the Corin Recreation Centre. The junior (non-championship) short course is 4.5km to finish at the turn off to Wood’s Reserve (189m elevation at 4.2%). Please ensure that your number has been recorded at the finish.
