Majura Rd incident this morning?
Postby HAKS » Fri Feb 10, 2012 11:22 am
Heard on the radio about 7.20am this morning that Majura Road was blocked due to an accident involving 3 cyclists. Anyone know any news? I was driving along there the other day and thinking it is such a dangerous road for cyclists. Hope those involved are OK.

I haven't heard anything.
I had a beaut run in this morning and felt glad passing a couple of thousand of cars all clogged back up CW Avenue to the house on the hill due to blocking off half of civic for the multicultural festival. I of course zoomed along the bike lane without a care in the world.
except for a stupid woman in a bronze pretend 4wd who decided to swing down onto parkes way just as i was passing...

According to CCC commissare who stopped and rendered assistance this morning, the "Hour Of Terror" bunch went down on the roundabout onto Dairy Flat this morning. Bikes smashed, riders mangled, ambulance in attendance.
I ride, therefore I am. But don't ride into harm's way.
