Anybody have a bike to loan?

Hi everyone,

Let me preface this by saying that I'm willing to give a cash bond of 100% of the fair value of a bike, if anybody has a suitable one to lend me.

I have just moved to Canberra for work. I'll be having my personal belongings couriered over to me after I've found a permanent place to stay (I'm currently in temporary accommodation). Until then, I need to be able to get around the city to check out apartments. I'm currently without my own bike, which is usually my primary means of transport.

So if anybody has a road bike (to suit a 184cm male) that's collecting dust in the garage that they'd be willing to lend to me, pretty please send me a PM. Or if you have any leads/relevant advice, then I'd be keen to hear it.

Only a road bike?

My old hybrid is just sitting in the shed... about a half day of work to make it rideable again, 'cause I've stolen so many parts off it.
