haven't found the appeal decision yet...
The first two are from December at which time he was sentenced to 7 months with no less than 3 months to be served. Nothing new there. No suspension, but bail granted pending appeal.
The third is "suek" stating on April 4 that ""He has been given a 7 month suspended sentence so no jail time." No indication whatsoever about how it is known.
His appeal against the sentence was to be heard in March and I can't see anything via Google on the outcome. I would expect that it would not go unreported.
So I am guessing that the appeal is still to be heard and that suek's statement is the all too common (on most forums) casual allegation of rumour and heresay as fact. And therefore that the state of play is still seven months with at least three months before parole.
I'm not commenting on the adequacy or otherwise of the sentence, only that we don't really have much to say that he did get a suspended sentence. Unless someone knows (genuinely knows) otherwise.
In due course it will most likely crop up in the media.

AFAIK he drives a Commodore or Statesman. But he could have a different car now. Or it could be someone else. There was a report by Sue back in October 2013 of a silver 2008 Falcon sedan (I know you said ute)hitting one of her friends that she was riding with and driving off. Utes are often the bogan's weapon of choice.Poiter wrote:Maybe he is doing it again?
Big Ford ute buzzed past my elbow today along there at about 1:00pm.
Saw him on mirror and heard his engine as he "put the boot in" - took quick left diversion.
Rego CRZ ....something.
Ride safe - trust no one.

If SueK was involved then it is a fair guess that she is right. Sounds like a bomb with a short fuse.Ross wrote:SueK was one of the victims. As was Twizzle who is a forum member here but doesn't post anymore.

If the offence was in NSW, he will appear in NSW. Unless he broke a good behaviour bond or parole from a sentence in ACT, in which case, he would be deferred back to ACT.
He's an utter twat.

Sadly, this began behaviour isn't restricted to only one motorist. If only it were. Ive been buzzed by numerous cars/ types of cars.Poiter wrote:Maybe he is doing it again?
