Mid week traffic conditions on Fitz route in Dec

Hi everyone

Unfortunately I missed the Fitz challenge but am keen to give the highlights a ride including the best bits and the bigger climbs with some friends. We are looking at doing that mid-week (although potentially just before, or during, Dec school holidays). With that in mind - whats traffic like on those roads? (I am hoping its ok). Any other advice welcome

The traffic on the Fitz route (talking Bobeyan Rd and the various detours) is about 'quality' rather than quantity. It can often be a bit hairy in a car...

Yep. Lots of highly aggressive drivers, going both directions. I've had a number of near head-ons with cowboys in their 'trucks' along there.
