Bicycle thieves are increasingly targeting Canberra's inner north, according to ACT police.
Figures released by ACT Policing showed 983 bikes were stolen in Canberra during the 2014 to 2015 financial year, up nearly 25 per cent from the previous year.
The main hot spots for thieves were Braddon, Acton and Civic.

you wonder if half of them were from storage areas in apartments - ie down in the basement somewhere with bugger all chance of getting caught?
