Hey Every one,

The order has gone through. I double checked to make sure every item was in stock before I placed the order. The rest I leave up to c r c, hopefully all is good.

I did forget to take into account the conversion rate of the credit card. c r c do charge in British Pounds, not to worry.

Anyway thanks everyone, once I receive the items I will let you guys know where and when you can pick up your stuff.

All orders i've done(with UK cycle sites, and HK electronics sites) i've not had any penalty for using my CC overseas.

Maybe it is just my credit card that doesn't charge conversion rates etc... But last time i did a c r c order, it was only the value of the order that was charged to my card, nothing else.

Maybe your bank isn't so nice.

Ali,

You need to change the currency viewed in at the top right of the screen when you first get onto the site. They quote in Aussie dollars than, and the prices are pretty much up to date, most of the time. Sometimes we even get a bonus - they were slow converting when the AUD plummeted earlier this year and we got stuff cheap for longer (unlike petrol stations ...

)

I used paypal to pay for the order and they have already charged my CC.

I did go by putting my credit card details direct but it was exactly the same.

What bank are you with I am changing.

Yep I did have Australian Dollar and country as Australia. The prices were showing in Australian Dollar.

But when I completed the order and entered the my credit card details the final amount was BPound with an approx AUD in brackets.

That's because you ARE charged in GBP, not AUD.

It doesn't matter what currency you set it to, you will ALWAYS pay in GBP at their end. You just need to trust that your bank charges at the correct exchange rate.

After seven days of no feedback from c r c regarding the $900+ order I did last Monday (six people in on it), I finally got an email from them yesterday. After a bit of chopping and changing of a couple of items this afternoon, it seems the order is ready for dispatch - at last!

My christmas present might still arrive before the end of the year! (Hope they send all the right stuff)

Guess what? No - my c r c order has still not arrived.

A week after my last post here, I received an invoice from c r c for an extra small payment for some extra items added a week earlier, and I promptly paid by PayPal. Six days later, and I still don't know if my order is on it's way!

In the meantime, a small order I did with IcyclesUSA on Dec 28, arrived today!

Our order was around $830.00 and was place just before XMAS. I have not heard anything from c r c regarding the order not an email nothing what so ever.

I assume it's because he's received his order already that was placed at a similar time. Seems c r c is a bit hit and miss lately.

Finally got confirmation on the weekend that my ~ $900 AUD c r c 'all in stock' order (placed on Dec 15) has finally been dispatched..... minus four items that were all 'in stock' when I ordered, plus another (my crissy present to myself) that was 'in stock', then 'out of stock

then 'back in stock'

and then finally 'out of stock' which I was told after dispatch!

Now, I (and five others) are waiting for the package to turn up...... and work out who has to be refunded. c r c has refunded me, though I haven't checked if it's the right amount yet

Motto? Order a month before xmas if you want it for xmas, and don't expect prompt replies over xmas new year period

I'll jump on and have my quick whinge. I ordered a BBB Torque Kit on the 27/12. The order was processed, it said nothing about stock being low etc. A few days ago after it hadn't arrived, I checked my c r c account. The order had the 'processing' status still. I sent an email to customer care and they sent me an apology saying the item was due back in stock on the 16/1. A simple email telling me that would have gone a long way.

good news fellas, c r c replied last night and they said the order has been processed the day before and they were hoping to dispatch yesterday. I have not received a dispatch confirmation as yet.
