Bugger :roll: I have promised to take my daughter to reading classes on this Saturday morning and SHE has a slightly higher priority

Would be interested in any other weekend with a bit of warning

I too am new to the forum pages and just returned to cycling after the cobwebs off (and cleaning the bike)
Last night I went from Vic park to Freo and back in just under 2.5 hours, so I am also wondering on what speed these guys are going at

It's a pretty social pace - we are not out there to smash each other. If the group breaks apart, we regroup when we need to. Basically, it's the pace of the slowest rider which determines the group's pace.

My group ride for tomorrow has fallen through. Anyone up for a ride tomorrow morning or can suggest a good bike store for a group ride?

i'm thinking of giving the bike force subi shop ride (medium) a go, if i wake up in time - if i do i'll report back next week.

having never done a shop/group ride before i'm not sure how good my report will be though. :oops:

Count me in for a ride....Sunday would be best thou could fit in a Saturday. If any newbies want a weekend ride and are a little unsure if they are good enough then dont be. The guys & girls in this forum are here to help and will only make you feel welcome!

Well it seems like we have enough interest, even if everyone can't make it. I'll start a thread with the aim of running the ride and we'll see who turns up.
