I'm out, but still riding just going for an earlier start so as not too cause as much hassle in the significant other department being the 14th and all that.

Hope those who made it had fun..... I am about to hit the road down south.

Will keep ears peeled for a MTB ride. My main MTB buddy has moved further afield and I should be making some new like minded accquaintances.

wish I could make it... Had to help get everyone drunk at a party. I don't drink though, just not my thing.

Yeah, thanks for the ride guys. Nice cruisy pace and friendly company.

We only had three forum members, but Nathan managed to bring a couple of mates to boost the numbers.

I'll look through my calendar and see when I have a Saturday morning free for a MTB ride. Anyone is free to give me a yell if they want to ride during the week - I'm normally pretty flexible during working hours (only one car at the moment though, which is clipping my wings somewhat.)

Cheers,
Graeme

G'day

I am sorry I didn't make it and thanks Graeme for the wake up call :). I had to make a late decision yesterday to waste my day in the office :(

I am glad it was a good ride but.

A ear/throat infection is killing me, otherwise I was prepared to set out this morning. Superb riding weather adds to the disappointment.

You must be a UWA Academic! Try writing to the chancellor and requesting uni go back in March. You'd have my support!

Did anyone get into trouble with the better halves for this morning's ride? ;-)

I must have gone to wrong spot in morning, was opposite toilet block south end of Narrows, approached a couple of groups but obviously not the right one. :( Ended up going for a similar ride with a small group of 3 and then joined in on a large group half way into ride. Riding in large groups is different, have to concentrate heaps more but it was really enjoyable. Learnt my first big lesson today, when the peleton splits dont be the one leading the second group to try catch the first, knackered in no time and no closer to group in front :)
Hope to catch up for ride in the future

Ah well, next time wce. Good lesson to learn, too! :)

The first post in this thread definitely says "under the bridge" - I even underlined it.

Cheers,
Graeme
